 Ingredients 

  • 3 very ripe bananas
  • 225g flour
  • 150g sugar
  • 40 g walnuts, crushed
  • 2 eggs
  • One handful of raisins
  • 2 tablespoons of rum.
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt.


Making Banana bread recipe 



  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (thermostat 6-7).
  2.  In a large bowl, mash the bananas, add the eggs and mix vigorously
  3. Add the dry ingredients to the banana mousse.
  4. Add the nuts, raisins, and rum.  To finish
  5. Place the dough in a lightly buttered cake tin, and bake in the oven for about 1 hour.
